THE LIZARD
Tonight we started our compositions. I see excellent contour lines and much forethought into those layouts!
This drawing has great contours! There is also a great sense of perspective as shown through the perfect proportions.
This student is taking on a unique challenge of dividing her layout into two panels. She has her contour lines roughed in and is off to a great start.
This student has already got her contours and shading done! She also cleverly changed the direction of the tail the lizard in her drawing to point back towards the lizard body to lead the viewer’s eye back into the composition.
This artist has got his basic contours in place and is now starting to work in the shadows. The cross-hatching is not only a great way to shade but also creates a cool texture that looks very similar to the fabric of the model.
Here is my attempt to draw our model with my signature scribble style.
